Highsense Infotech built a complete business ERP for Royal Decore bringing purchases, sales, point of sale, stock, payments, expenses and double-entry GST accounting into one system, with around 98 ready reports and multi-business support from a single installation.

The problem

Royal Decore was running a retail and trading operation across several disconnected tools: billing in one place, stock in another, and accounts reconstructed afterwards by an accountant from printouts. Each one was accurate on its own and none of them agreed with the others.

The product side made it harder. Décor stock carries variants by size, colour and model, sells at different prices to B2B buyers, retail walk-ins and over the counter, and moves between more than one warehouse. Tracking that in a spreadsheet means the stock figure is always a few days old.

And because accounting happened at the end rather than as part of each transaction, nobody could answer the simple questions - what did we actually make this month, who owes us money, what is our stock worth - without waiting for someone to work it out.

What Highsense Infotech built

We built one system where the accounting is a consequence of the operation rather than a separate exercise. Every purchase, sale, payment and expense posts automatically into a double-entry chart of accounts, so the general ledger, trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet are live rather than monthly.

The catalog handles how décor is actually sold: categories, brands, units, GST rates and HSN codes, variants by size, colour and model, auto-generated SKUs and barcodes with label printing, and separate B2B, B2C and POS price lists on the same product.

The counter runs on a fast POS with barcode scanning, split payments, held bills, returns and exchanges, thermal receipts in both 80 mm and 58 mm, cash register open and close with denomination counts, and offline billing so a dropped connection does not stop trade. Behind it sit multiple warehouses with a full stock ledger, transfers, physical counts and batch, expiry and serial tracking.

What changed

  • ✓
The accounts are a by-product of trading rather than a month-end reconstruction, so profit, receivables and stock value are readable on any given day.
  • ✓
One product record carries its variants and its B2B, B2C and POS prices, instead of the same item existing three times.
  • ✓
Billing continues through a connection drop, because the POS works offline and syncs afterwards.
  • ✓
Stock is tracked per warehouse with batch and serial detail, so a physical count has something meaningful to reconcile against.
  • ✓
GST input, output and HSN summaries come from the same data as the invoices, rather than being compiled separately at filing time.
